Aksaray Great Mosque
A 15th-century mosque in Seljuk style, built under Karamanoğlu Mehmet Bey.

Built in 1408-1409 on the orders of Karamanoğlu Mehmet Bey by the architect Mehmet Firuz Bey, the mosque has a rectangular cut-stone plan and carries the decorative tradition of the Anatolian beyliks. Its interior has pointed arches and a plaster mihrab, and it was repaired in 1482-1483 under Mehmet Bey's son İbrahim Bey. Its current minaret dates from 1925.
