Çır Waterfall, in the village of Uzundere in the Ilıcalar township of central Bingöl, lies about 35 kilometres from the city centre. It forms where water rising through a 100-metre rock called Çir Taşı pours down a 50-metre drop, fed by snowmelt and seasonal flow. Picnicking and walking are popular in the broadleaf forest around it.
