Keles, 61 km southeast of Bursa on the southeastern slopes of Uludağ, is about 57% forested. Of a complex built by Yakup Çelebi, brother of Yıldırım Bayezid, only a bathhouse survives today. Strawberries, cherries and sour cherries are among the district's crops.
