Hasan Paşa Han, east of the Great Mosque, was built in 1573 by the Ottoman governor Vezirzade Hasan Paşa. Built around a courtyard on two storeys, it has a columned, domed fountain in the middle of its courtyard. Today it is used as a lively bazaar building with shops and cafés.
