The Aras Bird Paradise is a wetland on the Aras River near the village of Yukarı Çıyrıklı in Tuzluca. At the bird research and education centre set up here by the KuzeyDoğa Society, birds have been ringed since 2006, and more than 300 species have been recorded in the area. Visitors come for birdwatching during the migration seasons.
