Pınarhisar

Pınarhisar is known for the Byzantine-era Pınarhisar Castle, whose brick-and-stone towers and walls survive to this day; the district was taken from the Byzantines by Gazi Mihal Paşa under Sultan Murad I in 1368. A giant land-art cartoon drawn on a hillside in the district, listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's largest cartoon, is also worth a look.
