Opened in 1999, the museum occupies the imaret section of the Kurşunlu complex, built by the Germiyan bey Yakub II. It displays examples of Kütahya and İznik tiles from the 14th century to the present, and its tomb section holds the tiled sarcophagus of Yakub Bey II.
