Muş Museum opened in 2021 in the building of the Atatürk Primary School, built in 1938. Its archaeology halls display finds spanning from the Chalcolithic period through the Urartian, Seljuk and Ottoman eras, while its ethnography hall shows Ottoman-period jewellery, household items and weapons. The museum also has a hall devoted to Sultan Alparslan and the Battle of Manzikert.
