Erenler, on the west bank of the Sakarya River south of Adapazarı, takes its name from Erenler Hill, believed locally to have spiritual significance. The 120-decare Sakarya Park is the district's walking and picnic area, and it is known for its furniture-making and factories such as Türk Traktör.
