Sarıkaya Roman Bath (Basilica Therma)
A Roman bath built over a hot spring, still fed by its waters.

Built in the 2nd century AD over hot springs known as Aquae Sarvenae, the bath is considered one of the most distinctive surviving Roman thermal buildings in Anatolia. The two-storey arched wall on its western side and the large pool in front of it are its best-known features. A church added beside it after the spread of Christianity gave it the name Basilica Therma, and locally it is called Kral Kızı (the King's Daughter). It was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List in 2018.
