Sinanpaşa

Sinanpaşa, formerly called Sincanlı, is a district southwest of the Afyonkarahisar city centre; about half its land is flat plain, and the rest is covered by the forests of the Ahır Mountains. Poppy, wheat, barley, potato and pea farming, along with livestock and carpet and kilim weaving, are important to the district's economy; mantı and keşkek are among its local dishes.
